Myrrh gum is a little more difficult to incorporate into incense with than its counterpart, frankincense. While often classified as a “bitter herb”, this myrrh actually has a very warm, pleasant scent. It works well with most bases, but is exceptional in a charcoal base. As this is a “powdered” resin, you should expect the resin to arrive heavily clumped. Luckily, it is very easy to re-powder. You can do it with just a mortar & pestle or even using the back of spoon and a bowl to return this myrrh to its powdered state.
