How did incense author and teacher Carl Neal come to be called The Incense Dragon?  Well, that's a secret he hasn't shared with many people, but we do know that The Incense Dragon has been teaching people how to make incense using the gifts that Nature has put around us for a long time.  From simple incense using local cedar or pine to complex scents using frankincense from Oman and aloeswood from Sumatra, everything The Incense Dragon sells is a gift from Nature.

Starting in the back of a small shop in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the 1990's, The Incense Dragon has made countless incense sticks and cones as well as taught thousands of people to make their own natural incense.  From Philadelphia in the east, to Dallas in the south, to San Jose in the west, and Seattle in the north, he has led workshops and classes about incense making and incense use all around America for more than 20 years.
