Most of the cinnamon sold in the USA is actually cassia. Not here! This cinnamon is from Vietnam and has a very high oil content (4%).

Cinnamon is a very potent incense ingredient. Use it sparingly, especially this Saigon Cinnamon (cinnamomum loureiroi). With such a high oil content, a little goes a long way. If you use too much cinnamon, your incense will burn your throat and your eyes, so treat it with great respect and it will help you produce amazing incense.
