*Additional info:
Whipped Body Butter is finicky. What I mean is that higher temperatures (who KNOWS what happens to these packages during their travels) may cause slight discoloration. Rest assured, the body butter is just fine.
Getting the Most Bubble from Chocolate Strawberry Bubble Bath Truffles - Hot water works much better than cooler water. Stronger water pressure and softened water make more bubbles as well. To use, break up one or two (I recommend two) tub truffles and put them inside one of the bags provided, and hang from the faucet directly under the water flow. I like to put the truffles inside the bag first, and THEN break them up; less chance of losing pieces.
Cromollient SCE is an emollient used in creams and lotions. In this case, it helps to rinse the oils cleanly from your face.
Polysorbate 80 is a surfactant and emollient used in many bath products. In the mineral soak, it is used to prevent the mica from leaving a sparkly ring around the inside of your tub. It’s used in the bath truffles for the same reason. No one wants a ring of cocoa powder in their tub.
SLSa (sodium lauryl sulfoacetate) is the gentler alternative to SLS. (sodium lauryl sulfate) SLS is a wonderful surfactant. It’s found in a lot of shampoos, soaps, cleaning products. It removes dirt, oil and makes loads of bubbles in bath products. It is also has a tendency to strip skin and hair of oils. It can cause irritation or rashes on sensitive people. Some folks are just plain allergic to it. SLSa is a plant derived surfactant that does much the same as SLS, but is much milder and tends not to irritate sensitive skin and scalps. For some, there is a draw-back. While SLSa bubbles and foams wonderfully and makes an awesome bubble bath, it does not hold a candle to the luxurious fluffy bubbles that SLS creates.
