Shoyeido Natural Charcoal Tabs

This is some of the best charcoal an incense maker can buy. It is made from bamboo and crafted into tiny bricks by the incense maters at Shoyeido in Japan. It is offered in the small size (48 tabs per box) and a medium size (24 tabs per box). The small bricks are 1 inch by 1/2 inch. The medium bricks are 1 inch square. Shoyeido charcoal is burns reliably and consistently with virtually no scent. If buried under white ash, what little scent there is vanishes completely.
